On the Road Again...

On March 14th, I made a trip to Utah to help take care of Hunter while Tamra made a business trip to New York.  Since I was there, Barry was able to keep working on the remodel job at their new house.  It was fun to go to Park City and check out the progress he has made.  Can I just say.... Barry is doing an amazing job!!!  Check it out on Tamra's link.  It is going to be wonderful!  It was fun to be around Hunter.  He is sure growing up and is quite the little helper.

Kristin and Lincoln...

Kristin and Lincoln flew in to be in Provo when the packers and movers came to pack up their house.  Since I was already in Utah, I stayed a few extra days to see them and help out in any way that I could.  What a cutie Lincoln is!  We were so happy that they were able to sell their home!

Happy Birthday Relief Society...

Last Thursday we celebrated the organization of the Relief Society at our Enrichment Night. Since our enrichment leader was out of town, I was in charge.  We used "Sisterhood Around the World" as our theme.  We decided to work on humanitarian items that would be sent to our sisters around the world in need.  We tied three quilts, put together 35 hygiene kits, and made file folder games that will go into modules with other items to be sent to orphanages.  We had finger foods from around the world and birthday cake.  Everything was so good it was hard to pick a favorite... the stuffed grape leaves were at the top of the list though.  Behind the food tables, we had two tables with display items from around the world.  It was a fun evening and everyone seemed to have a good time.  There are over five and a half million Relief Society sisters in 170 countries around the world...... Happy Birthday Relief Society!  (organized March 17, 1842)

Happy Birthday Dad!

A couple weeks ago my dad turned 91 so I made a quick trip over to the bay area to spend a couple days with him.  We had a nice time visiting and catching up, then on Saturday we drove into San Francisco to the Academy of Sciences.

WAY TO GO MARCUS!!!

Congratulations to our 11 year old grandson Marcus!  He just earned his Black Belt (1st level)! Check out Scott's blog and you can see him in action.  Great job Marcus!!!
